Mutts & Mops is a small business based and run in Southampton, UK. Gem has lived with dogs and various other animal friends throughout her life, and began her own dog walking and pet care business in October 2006. As business slowed during the recent recession, Gem went back to doing some cleaning work to keep busy. In 2009 Gem decided to combine the two skills, and found that customers really liked the idea of having their house cleaned after the dog is brought home! Whatever needs cleaning around your house, Gem will have a go! She'll get on with it as quickly as possible, provide her own cleaning equipment if you like and leave the house in great shape for you to come home to.

Mutts & Mops is fully insured (to cover public liability and holding of keys) and licensed by Southampton City Council to look after pets.

Dog Walking (dog picked up, walked and taken home) - £10 per hour;
Cat Feeding (+ 50p for litter trays) - £9 per visit;
Doggy Daycare (at our Mutts & Mops house in Bitterne) - £18 per day;
Doggy Sleepover (at our Mutts & Mops house in Bitterne) - £19.50 per night;
Pet Taxi prices from £15 per trip;
Dog Washing from £8;
General domestic cleaning starting from £8 per hour.

We also offer discounts for regular cleaning and multiple dogs. Gem has tried to teach her own dog Didz to act as a living feather duster (he has a very bushy tail), but to no avail. All cleaning work therefore will be carried out by a human, using colour-coded microfibre cloths and environmentally friendly cleaning products.
